I'm not super athletic, but I enjoyed tossing a Frisbee so I decided to try Ultimate. It was a lot of fun! And I’ll never forget the moment I got hooked. Someone made a throw to me in the end zone, and until that instant it would have been impossible for me to catch. I threw myself through the air and felt the disc hit my palm. I can still feel the exhilaration as I rolled over the ground. When I stood up I was a hero.

What it is: Ultimate is a fast-paced, co-ed, non-contact field sport played with a frisbee disc.

Who can play: Current players range in age from 13 to mid-fifties. If you are willing to have fun and do some running, then please join us. No one is too athletic or not athletic enough to enjoy Ultimate.

When: Every Thursday at 6:00 P.M.

Where: Currently we play in front of the Southfield Civic center on Evergreen Rd. between 10 and 11 mile. We're also looking for additional fields in the Southfield area. Check website for further updates.

What do I need: Clothes that are comfortable to run in. Two shirts, one light and one dark. Soccer cleats if you have them. We will have discs, but it doesn’t hurt to bring your own.
